IS200EGPAG1A is a General Electric EGPA Exciter Gate Pulse Amplifier Board for GE EX2100 excitation control systems. In the EX2100 power conversion module (PCM), the EGPA board generates SCR gate firing pulses from ESEL gate commands and interfaces current conduction feedback, bridge airflow, and temperature monitoring for up to six SCRs per bridge.

The GEH-6632G EX2100 user guide describes the EGPA as used on systems with 77 mm thyristors or smaller, requiring one gate pulse amplifier board per PCM, and powered from nominal 125 V dc supplied by the EPDM feeding an on-board dc-to-dc converter.
