IS200VAICH1B - VAIC Analog Input/Output Board | GE Mark VI | B7B

The General Electric IS200VAICH1B (VAIC) is an Analog Input/Output board for GE SPEEDTRONIC™ Mark VI turbine control systems. It accepts 20 analog inputs and controls 4 analog outputs, with each associated terminal board handling 10 inputs and 2 outputs.

VAIC converts field inputs to digital values and transfers them over the VME backplane to the VCMI board and controller; for outputs, VAIC converts digital command values to analog current and drives them through the terminal board to the customer circuit. VAIC supports both simplex and triple modular redundant (TMR) applications; in TMR configurations, input signals are fanned out to three VME racks (R, S, T) each containing a VAIC, and output current is produced using a proprietary voting circuit across all three boards.

IS200VAICH1B is part of the original VAIC generation (through VAICH1C) and requires an IS200TBAIH1B terminal board or earlier, or any revision of IS200DTAI, for up to 500 Ω load resistance on 20 mA outputs.

For maintenance and procurement teams, IS200VAICH1B should be matched to the existing GE Mark VI rack, terminal-board generation, and redundancy configuration per GEH-6421 Volume II before ordering a replacement.
