The General Electric IS200VGENH1B (VGEN) is a Generator Monitor and Trip board for GE SPEEDTRONIC™ Mark VI turbine control systems. Working with the IS200TGEN terminal board, VGEN monitors generator three-phase voltage and current and calculates three-phase power and power factor.
For large steam turbine applications, VGEN also provides power load unbalance (PLU) and early valve actuation (EVA) protective functions, using fast-acting solenoids wired through an associated TRLY relay terminal board. VGEN supports both simplex and TMR applications and connects to TGEN over a 37-pin D-shell cable interface.
For maintenance and procurement teams, IS200VGENH1B should be matched to the existing TGEN terminal board and redundancy configuration per GEH-6421 Volume II before ordering a replacement.
