The General Electric IS200VTURH1A (VTUR) is a Primary Turbine Protection board for GE SPEEDTRONIC™ Mark VI turbine control systems. It measures turbine speed using four passive pulse-rate devices, provides automatic generator synchronizing and main-breaker closure, monitors induced shaft voltage and current, and monitors up to eight Geiger-Mueller flame detectors on gas turbine applications.
VTUR controls three primary overspeed trip relays on an IS200TRPG terminal board; the controller generates the trip command, which passes through VTUR and then TRPG to trip the emergency solenoids (electrical trip devices/ETDs). VTURH1 (this part) drives three trip solenoids using one TRPx board and accepts eight flame detectors.
For maintenance and procurement teams, IS200VTURH1A should be matched to the existing TTUR/TRPG terminal boards and redundancy configuration per GEH-6421 Volume II before ordering a replacement.
