The General Electric IS2020RKPSG1A (RKPS) is a 125 V dc input VME rack power supply for GE SPEEDTRONIC™ Mark VI turbine control systems, mounting on the side of the VME control and interface racks. It supplies +5, ±12, ±15, and ±28 V dc to the VME backplane, plus an optional 335 V dc output for powering flame detectors connected to a TRPG terminal board.
RKPS is powered from a Power Distribution Module (PDM) at 125 V dc, as distinct from the low-voltage (24 V dc) IS2020LVPS version used in some installations. Note: a different power supply is used on the stand-alone control rack, which powers only the Mark VI controller, VDSK, and VCMI.
For maintenance and procurement teams, IS2020RKPSG1A should be matched to the existing rack power architecture and PDM voltage source per GEH-6421 Volume II before ordering a replacement.
Control system parts are provided by GTC Control Solutions, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of B7B. Parts are offered in unused, repaired, or remanufactured condition, subject to availability.
